What's so hard to understand? One of the team members goes to attack, and the leader directs this non-damaging spell at them. If someone tries to block the attacker, it will show that the leader was blocked, and the attacker will kill the target without any problems. You can also target members of other teams and city guards; nothing prevents you from doing that.
