Here are my ideas on how the heroes will travel: for the simplest creatures, camels, wolves, and trained bears come to mind. :) For the more special ones – special animals: tigers, panthers, bulls. :) For the truly special ones: levitation (also a good option), or if you don't want to put in too much effort, you can come up with flying carpets. If the hero is a centaur (although it doesn't suit the race), let him move on his own – on all fours... :)
