Although I consider the question of religious belief important, I haven't seriously delved into it. Overall, I'm more of an atheist, as I haven't turned to God since those early days when I was told that "God exists, and therefore I must..." Well, if He doesn't exist, then I'm a monotheist in the sense that I don't support the church but believe it's necessary to communicate with Him directly. In short, I act according to my conscience. For many people, conscience takes the form of God.
