Is it allowed to jump between zones without breaking through the guards?

The rules only prohibit jumping specifically into the opponent's starting zone. Since nothing is said about other zones, it means it's not prohibited.
Besides, the starting zones have quite thick walls (mountains) in the latest version of HoMM, and it's difficult to jump into them.
