Out-of-game communication.

You know, I've even come up with a multi-layered quest: something like this – the censer, due to its holy power, prevented demons from getting close to the city, where a powerful artifact of Darkness is actually hidden (perhaps even a fragment of Chaos:rolleyes:); so they sent their succubus, who killed the wife of a high-ranking city official, a member of the city council, took her form, and for a long time manipulated him using dark magic until he completely lost his mind. And then he hired several traveling elves to steal the Censer, take it out of the city, and sink it in the river.
P.S. - the thing is that demons, even succubi, cannot approach this censer closer than thirty steps. (that's why the succubus-wife of the city official always sat in the back when visiting the church)
