King's Bounty: The Legend

I finally got around to playing King's Bounty. I'm currently playing through "The Legend," and then I'll move on to the expansions. So, here's what I'm writing about. I'm having a problem with a quest. It's the quest in Darion's old castle, where I need to find a head for Morze's skeleton. I found the head, brought it to him, and he says something like, "Go to the last room, turn the torch, and a secret room will open. There you'll find Darion's old banner, and you'll be able to carry more troops." So, I found the torch, it's the only one where the cursor changes when I hover over it, I click it, and nothing happens. I've tried approaching it from different sides, clicking from a distance, nothing. Has anyone else encountered this? The internet is strangely silent on this topic.
