HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
I have no idea what a game ranger is and why it's impossible to play version 3.0 beta through it.
The first beta was released back in December 11th, and two months later, I receive very informative messages:
How do you play through GameRanger? It's possible in 2.98f. Version 3.0 seems to be some kind of useless version.
Isn't it worth explaining the problem clearly and in detail?
No, of course, I could spend time searching for and downloading GameRanger and figuring out how it works with Heroes, instead of directly developing the mod's features, but if I get distracted by this, will we ever see 3.0 final?
Why "goodbye GameRanger"? Do you think creating and launching an executable file without parameters in 3.0 is something unrealistic? Why not just suggest it, clearly explaining why it's needed?
Isn't GameRanger and password-protected saves a compatible concept?
