I don't accept or understand the concept of a "golden age" at all. The creativity of the nobility was only understandable to themselves. Perhaps only at the end of the 19th century did truly accessible writers and poets emerge. The collapse of the scientific worldview began earlier – in the 18th and 19th centuries, when the values of liberalism were declared eternal and immutable. When the laws of nature regarding social development were simply ignored. And such people as Danilevsky, Marx, Spengler, Toynbee, and Gumilev sought a way out of this unscientific impasse.
