Hmm....
If no one wants to write anything, I'll tell the story myself.
I recently started playing the "The Shadow of Death" campaign for the Orcs, and the hero there is Kreg-Hack. I was completely crushed, like some kind of newbie. There's absolutely no balance; I only have one hero, while the computer has six. It moves, gathers an army from external dwellings, and I can't even leave my city. These bastards swarm in from all sides. In short, I played for three months (in-game time, of course), and the computer built up a huge army and destroyed me. I had 17 monsters, 25 cyclops, 100 goblins, and orcs. It had... 50 cyclops, 500 riders and goblins, 65 birds, and even more orc archers and ogres. I swore a lot, and this unbalanced campaign simply took away my desire to play any other campaigns at all. I quit. Although I'm not a newbie; I've completely finished Heroes 5 and 4. And in general, the campaigns are boring and uninteresting, and also unbalanced. The single-player games are normal. Since then, I've been playing WOG.
These are completely different games; here, creatures have experience, there are squires, commanders, and level 8 creatures. Here, you can increase growth in cities, here you get an artifact for each level, and armies grow by 4% per day. Here, there are diamond golems, mummies, crystal and azure dragons, arctic and hardened snipers, and the amazing creature - the Metamorph. Here, a Grail is built in all cities, here you can walk through mountains, here you can do EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!
My choice is "IN THE WAKE OF GODS"
Try playing WOG... there, creatures also gain experience (if you want, you can enable it), and there are classes for Heroes, and it is considered that everything is more balanced.
