Helkehon usually uses the bow from cover, provided the opponent doesn't see him, or when the opponent is at a distance. He uses the spear in close combat, fights cautiously, doesn't let the opponent get too close, and doesn't allow anyone to get behind him (he doesn't allow anyone to do this even outside of battle), as if luring them. He uses the daggers when it is necessary to deliver a quick and unexpected strike at close range. In group combat, he climbs to a higher position and shoots with the bow, covering his comrades.

Mellon attacks without a command if his master is in serious danger or when it is necessary to finish off the enemy; otherwise, he stays away.
