Biography: Kerlian grew up in a small fortress located near the city of Lamnes, in the eastern part of the island. The climate in these lands is harsh, the terrain rocky, and the forests dense. Perhaps that is why there are few elves here and travelers outside the city are rarely encountered. If they are met, it is on the main road leading to the neighboring city. Local residents know that a fortress is located near their city, but no one knows exactly what its inhabitants do, although everyone sees them when they come to town. Some believe it is a temple to the solar Salaru or another deity, but most hold the opinion that these people are connected to royal services and engage in alchemy or some kind of study. The latter are closer to the truth; the elves of this brotherhood actually practice alchemy, which partially serves as a cover, but their main activity is the study of magic and ways to combat it.
Kerlian does not know who his parents were, but assumes they were also members of the brotherhood and died on one of the missions. The Highs never told him about them and forbade asking questions regarding his family. From a young age, he was taught the basics of the universe, various sciences, and instilled with their faith and attitude toward the surrounding world. However, not all views appealed to Kerlian, and at times he doubted their correctness, but over time he thought about it less and less, as dissent was not welcomed in the brotherhood and sometimes even punished; additionally, there was strict discipline and strong pressure from the Highs. When he grew up, he began training as a fighter. The training included not only combat and physical exercises, but also activities outside the fortress, ranging from land navigation to wilderness survival. Then he mastered the basics of alchemy and began studying magic and its structure. The brotherhood also practiced weapon enchanting, and everyone who completed the training was given a special dagger.
One day, a rumor spread in the city that a source of magical power had been found on the territory of the Selentit Empire. The brotherhood took an interest in this information and decided to verify the rumor by sending their young fighters for reconnaissance. Initially, they wanted to send two or three, but considering that the brotherhood is small and some elves were already on missions or involved in various tasks, it was decided to send Kerlian alone. It was planned to send a larger group after him, which was supposed to find Kerlian on site and learn everything he had discovered by then. Kerlian wanted to take his close friend Kaliel with him, but she was not allowed to go. Three days before the departure, one of the Highs named Fisemar insisted that Kerlian should not be sent without an escort, and it was decided to send one of the homunculi created via alchemy along with him. Teacher Fisemar — this is how Kerlian addressed his mentor, who had practically replaced a father for him. Fisemar treated Kerlian with mutual warmth, always trying to help the young elf. This time too, he looked after him, trying to ease his journey in some way. The homunculus Anter was useful not only as brute force capable of carrying loads and protecting against attack, but also in daily life. He also possessed intelligence and could communicate. Kerlian was glad for this, although he would have preferred to see Kaliel by his side. He spent almost the entire last day with her, and in the morning he left his native fortress and set out on his journey.
Character: good-natured, moderately sociable; if he feels sincerity and kindness, he can grow close to a person and begin to trust them, but he never speaks of his home or mission. Possesses a natural curiosity for the new, and upon arriving on the mainland, his curiosity grew even stronger, as he had lived almost his entire life within one city, and now the whole world is open before him, full of amazing things, with many cultures and inhabitants. He has established views, most of which were imposed on him from a young age in the brotherhood. However, the longer he stays on the mainland, the shakier they become, although he continues to treat mages with coolness. Perhaps communication with one of their representatives can influence him and help change his opinion of them, or perhaps he will be even more convinced of his views. He is responsible regarding assignments and disciplined.

There was another art for the homunculus at first, but when they were cut, I decided to make this one.
All names have meanings.
