The point is that I come in and start working, and no one explains anything to me. That is, do this or that, and if you don't know how, that's your problem.
Don't compare yourself to others. Experience shows that only a few people can successfully combine work and study. If you're confident that you can be one of those few, then yes. Otherwise, you might get kicked out of your job, or out of the university, or out of both.
