Confirming, we played random. We cleared all the resources, and the map was terrible. It was full of ranged units, which I lost all my melee units to. The resource spawn was minimal and far away, the roads were slow, and everything stopped when I couldn't break through at all (20-49 Grand Griffins, 20-49 Ogres, GO 50-99 Wizards, 10-19 Archmages, 20-49 Gargoyles, 20-49 Medusas). Realizing that I wouldn't be able to make it to the second week without losing all my troops, I decided to surrender immediately (and this wasn't because of the Capitol :( ).
