Doesn't it seem a bit too much like a lottery? Even an extra unit seems to determine the outcome. Maybe we should just reveal the map and award the victory?
For example, I am deeply convinced that even if I have three units against your zero, I will still lose against a player of your level :)
Skill still decides everything. And the draw only slightly changes the odds in one direction or another. Maybe in offline mode, it would be possible to award the victory by revealing the map, but here, IMHO, it's not.:)
Oops:o, I must have missed something... when I was looking at the template settings, were there L-U? L+U? and now, in the tournament conditions, it's M-U.
Sorry for the confusion, but I don't play with M-units!
Good luck, guys;)
Let's wait for Javdet's answer regarding merging several "quick" templates. Maybe he will create a "quick" template with size L.
At the very least, for the sake of your participation, I am ready for any map size :)
Regarding the system of conducting the tournament.
Most people seem to be in favor of the Swiss system.
I am currently trying to learn Swiss Master 5.5 for conducting the draw.
Or should we conduct the draw randomly? Without a conditional rating?
Then we can simply use Tourney Master.
I would be grateful for any advice and help in organizing the tournament :)
Regarding the regulations, I think we should plan for one game per week. This means one week per round.
