2Ivor: there is indeed a rational point in what is being said here: if there is no internal motivation and desire to go all the way in refining the new version, then why even start it? Especially in a forced manner. They should have left version 0.42 as a base, and gradually worked on a new one if they had the desire, brought it to a reasonable state, and then thought about the transition.

WT-Edition is a new update for Heroes with a different gameplay dynamic. In general, your comment about what should and shouldn't be in it is inappropriate, considering your lack of online experience. You can either try to achieve some success in this area (which is not easy), or continue to "play" SOD with captain hats in utopias, with only one truly useful school of magic, necromancy, etc.
