A tournament on a map that can't be completed in half a year! :) You must be kidding... In my opinion, if the map's record is more than a month, then it's not suitable for a tournament. The exception is the trial tournament, Best of the Best. And only because it's a trial... :) I hope things will be different in the future...

Because the essence of the tournament is to study the map, make a rough run, and achieve a good result through reasonable optimization. This is the main feature of offline play. And if, after the first run, there's no strength left to optimize the map, then it's not a tournament, but a lottery... :)
