In this case, I see the Rampart race as the most suitable for this role.

In principle, considering that almost all necromancers in HoMM3 are depicted as half-corpses at best, it's doubtful that they have any emotions... Let's say: for Chaos, they are too undead, and for Order... let's just say that the dead don't have the idea of order and strict law, because they have no inclination towards lawlessness...
