Great game, but it's easy to play against the AI.
Indeed, it is. :)
As for it being easy, play offline – there, bonuses and various weapons don't work, and you can customize the game conditions to your liking. :p

you all, with your initial and dynasty bonuses, reaching level 3 for your city within the first week, and then, with your upgraded sword, you take out entire armies, and then you're surprised – "Oh, it's so easy!":D
