An interesting game turned out. I haven't beaten this many walkers in a long time. At the start: 20 Lizardmen and 30 Gnolls. Against me: 50 Zombies, 25 Iron Golems, another 50 Zombies, 32 Centaurs, a mini Crypt. Everything except the Crypt (where I lost 1 Lizardman) and the Centaurs (where 4 Gnolls fell) was without losses. Gold was tight everywhere, barely enough for 1-2 Serpents.
The respawn was superb. 2 external dwellings of Serpents, an external dwelling of Gnolls, and 2 external dwellings of Lizardmen (not on the road, blocked, saw them on week 2 — didn't take them).
On the first week, I fight through the walkers, get Tazar's Log, pick up secondary skills, and break into the main. On day 116, I break the block (50 Lizardmen) and take both external Serpent dwellings. I descend into the underground and run as fast as I can to the second secondary town. I manage to take the Dungeon on the penultimate move and build a Portal there (from 4 Serpents, had enough gold for 2).
At home: 1-4,5 in the Castle. 6 Windmills taken (2 not taken, 1 unexplored).
I notice a Griffin Conservatory next to the Dungeon, get Earth Magic with Tazar, and realize that 28 Serpents would kill anything (there was plenty of meat). I upgrade the Serpents in the main, build a Mage Guild in the Dungeon, break the Conservatory, and get a level 1 spell ((
Too bad it was level 1, but nothing to be done about it. On day 122, I have Tazar with Mass Slow, 28 Serpents, 10 Wyverns, and some chaff. I realize I need to kill the opponent while I have the chance and run toward him (the bugged GO was standing in the mountains, meaning I'd probably reach him via the road). On the way, I take a Cape of Speed (+2 to speed), boost my Spell Power (there was a level 1 spell in the Conservatory, after leaving the underground — level 4), and take a Dragon Fly Hive. The opponent turned out not to be as close as I thought. I don't reach his main by ~600 ms and camp on days 127-131. The opponent attacks.
He has somehow already gotten 5 Angels and 16 Wyverns and a lot of native meat. But he's in trouble with mana. I have ~24, he has ~12. I immediately cast Slow. I get a Slow in return. I cast Shield, move in with the Serpents, and wait. I cast Haste and start charging with Wait. Through these maneuvers, I lure him closer to me and trade blows. The result: he fled with 0 mana, me with 4 and an Angel, 20 Serpents, 30 Lizardmen, 10 Wyverns.
On day 131, I see him in his main with 5 Minotaurs and single Harpies. I convert resources to ~13k gold (Plan B) and attack. I cast Shield and charge in. The Lizardmen are doomed under the Castle's arrows; the Angel and Wyverns fly in and annihilate the opponent.
Mana in the endgame can very often decide the outcome of a game, which was confirmed once again. Thanks for the game.

The opponent was unlucky with respawns. He chose all of his 111. He was offered a rematch if he wished, but he didn't use it. On day 112, the opponent surrendered. Luck was on my side, but it feels strange to call such a match a victory.
