I'm also experiencing cognitive dissonance, or maybe I'm just being weird: I thought that progressive music should be technically complex and advanced, with unusual rhythms, etc. But here, I don't really hear that (although, of course, there are some parts), and the music seems neither simple nor particularly complex to me. Hehe)
I actually really like this album; it has a good balance between complexity and beauty, in my opinion. If you want something more complex, listen to Systematic Chaos) Or Tool - 10000 days.
