Shortly after the Barbarian entered the tavern, two skeletons burst in, summoned by Almare to guard his companion. They had shields on their backs, riddled with arrows. (The guards at the gate did their job, assuming they were chasing the wounded Barbarian).
Everyone present jumped up, drew their swords, axes, and other weapons. Following the skeletons, guards rushed into the tavern, unleashing their weapons upon them.
The skeletons couldn't withstand such an onslaught, but they didn't crumble to dust; they simply vanished (as they had been summoned).
The commander of the guards exclaimed: "These aren't real skeletons! Someone managed to summon them! Alert, there must be Necromancers nearby!"
