The weakest castle in Heroes of Might and Magic IV!

I looked at the survey results and was almost taken aback. People, where are you from, and which Heroes 4 game did you play? Is Life really that weak? Allow me to disagree. Yes, the units aren't the strongest or fastest, but when you assemble a Squire, Archer, Spearman, Monk, and Angel, what do you get? The Squire is an excellent vanguard, in large numbers, and it crushes everyone, preventing them from getting close to the archers. Then, the Spearman (right behind the Squire) attacks without resistance, ignoring the first hit. What more do you need for the second line of defense? Archers have no range penalty – it's a masterpiece. The Monks join the battle when the Squires and Spearmen are already engaged, and at a short distance, they finish off almost everything with certainty. The Angels eliminate enemy archers and resurrect your units (depending on the situation, but most often, Squires at the end of the battle). Now, add a General hero (most often a combat hero of Life) and a Paladin (also a magic hero of Life) with their abilities to improve defense, resurrection, Guardian Angel, etc. Plus, resurrection up to 50% at the end of the battle (only Death is better in this regard). So, how is that, and who will now say that Life is weak?

I didn't expect that from you. I understand you're a fan of Stronghold and Chaos, but still. Which spells are weak? You're also wrong about the useless creatures. I'm used to playing with the combination I described above, but I don't hesitate to use any other. Of course, there are some drawbacks: Ballistas are good, especially when storming a castle, but they can't be resurrected, and there are no flying creatures when choosing champions. However, even with this selection, there are battle tactics; describing them would be tedious, but if you doubt it, I won't mind spending the time.
