We start quickly and decisively. Only one restart from me. I start completely without gargoyles. Neither of my heroes has them, and there are none in the city. So, there might be trouble with single units and scaling, but there's room to expand nearby, and there are plenty of gold + the scouting reveals basilisks, which clearly indicates a secondary hero is present – I'm playing. My main secondary hero, a few heroes, but they're all active. I notice in the tavern that the opponent also has a secondary hero. Before the end of the week, I gather money and resources. I put a nag in the citadel as my main unit, and mages in the citadel for the secondary hero. In the second week, I venture in another direction and find a couple of artifacts: a Knight's Blade and +1 armor. At the same time, I scout for a Guardian and place giants on day 7. I take my 3rd castle underground and clearly see a path to the opponent. I decide to carefully advance with Solmyr, while sending a scout ahead. Dessa kills the scout and attacks Solmyr.
