I would like to share my thoughts on the selection of templates for the tournament. In the юбилейный ком (anniversary community), I played with people who created quite balanced maps; I don't know what templates or generator they used (most likely the built-in one), but the games were interesting. We always played 1v1, and an example of a map (template) is: the entire map is divided into 4 roughly equal parts, and each player starts in their own square, with exits to 2 other squares (1 обязательно to the opponent, and 1 secondary, random one), which are guarded by strong defenses that usually cannot be broken before turn 3-4. On this map, the game usually lasts around a month, maybe a little longer, depending on the defenses and the chosen faction. I also played 1v1 templates with the possibility of a quick rush, meaning weak defenses between opponents, a small starting zone, and everything is usually decided in 2-3 weeks. I suggest not playing on the moza templates for this tournament because it turns out to be pointless; it's all the same. If anyone has experience with the built-in templates and creating balanced and user-friendly maps using the built-in map generator, please share your ideas.
There are problems when creating maps using the moza templates; very often, non-native terrain is generated.
Igrok- -76, you seem to be registered on the юбилейный ком as Igrok v geroev; if so, maybe you know aleksandr_1282; he generates good maps and knows how
