I only just now realized how badly I messed up — in a panic that I wasn't timing anything right, I completely forgot that leftover troops ended up in Main's army, and I got a terrain penalty.



But even so, 1 turn wouldn't have been enough to reach the final...



As I already said, I got greedy with Octavia by killing 3 scout heroes with her right away, as a result of which 1 turn wasn't enough for Main to win.
