After the explosion, legions of skeletons will become just an ordinary bunch.
Let's calculate instead of arguing!
Let's say a legion of skeletons consists of exactly 1000. 1000 * 6 = 6000 HP – their total health.
Expert Earth Magic deals the following damage from the explosion: SP * 75 + 300.
(6000 - 300) / 75 = 76. This means: to instantly kill 1000 skeletons with an explosion, you need a magic power of 76! Where have you seen heroes with such magic power online?! Well, 20, well, 25 – yes! 25 * 75 + 300 = 2175 damage. Well, plus a sphere of ill, plus magic... Still: serious players don't "rely" on damage magic! Moreover (if you want – calculate it yourself), the damage from a regular attack with a damage stack can easily exceed the damage from an explosion!

Noobs have "the most standard solution" – they use their games against the computer as an argument. And from your posts, it's clear that you DON'T play against people. Because where have you seen a stack of 50,000 skeletons? Only against the computer.
Oh, Lider1! Online and offline – to put it in an Odessa way, "there's a big difference"! This is self-evident. :) But you shouldn't speak disparagingly about offline! Because playing on random and custom maps is two even bigger differences! On custom maps, you can find almost anything that you haven't even seen in your worst nightmares: :smile24: stacks of 50,000 skeletons, mega-heroes with primary skills of 99/99/99/99, equipped with powerful artifacts and spells to the fullest extent, and much more that I haven't even seen yet!.. Believe me, there, direct damage spells are too useless to rely on!

If a necromancer doesn't have "Alliance of Angels" or "Might of the Dragon Lord" and has a huge army of skeletons, not liches (from the "King of the Undead's Cloak"), then two artifacts in a pair should work perfectly against him: "Sphere of Inhibition" and "Armor of the Damned". All of his already slow troops will be slowed down (expert is better, of course), and he won't be able to remove it or use any magic at all.
By the way, this is perfectly logical! The problem is: it is unknown whether the player will be able to acquire the Sphere of Inhibition and the Armor of the Damned.
The weakness of necromancers is that their dragons do not have as strong an immunity to magic as green or red dragons, not to mention their upgraded versions and other types of dragons! And this means that, despite immunity to mind control spells, the entire necromantic army can be slowed down in one go! And, if the opponent has faster troops (and the first turn!), he will almost always apply the slow effect first, then shoot down the liches or the stack that poses the greatest threat in the near future, and the slowed stacks can be chased around the field until only dust remains! Of course, it's good if the necromancer doesn't have expert speed or healing.
