Where did the word loser come from? It comes from the word misfortune. And what is misfortune? Bad luck, the negative influence of some random factor on certain events. Therefore, a loser is a person who is constantly unlucky, for whom some events beyond their control constantly interfere with their normal life or doing something. However, in colloquial speech, the meaning of this word has merged with the meaning of "sucker" or "weakling." Including myself, when I talk about myself as a loser, I mean exactly that, not "external factors," although, as it turns out, they do exist in my case.
