There were also successful generations, but the final one was something else...... a handout.
The respawn is micro tiny, with an observation tower on it, 2 mines and a crypt, and an arena. I broke into the metro, and immediately ran into 10+ upgraded minotaurs and 5+ cyclopes. (I checked later, there were also 10+ Behemoths standing behind them). In short, while breaking through to the ore mine past 20+ dragon flies, I saw a passage to the swamp, and hope appeared. But alas, nothing there either, an external dwelling of crossbowmen but behind 50+ upgraded harpies. I broke into the metro there, killed about 60 golems, captured the black market, then another block of 50+ golems, but with artifact resources and so on, I assumed there were close to 100 of them, not enough shots. I finished the first week with 1,2,4 in the fort. No gold, and no way to get any either. There was hope to capture the Dragon Fly Hive and take it if it was minimal, and then try to do something else, but alas, the Dragon Fly Hive wasn't minimal, and I couldn't take it with 8 swordsmen, basic pikemen, and crossbowmen.
