It seems that this section, which deals with one-way connections, doesn't solve the crashing issues. But just in case (if someone can help), I'll ask about another problem. I completed the Introductory campaign, and then, in order, I started the Necropolis campaign, completed "Misery Loves Company," and began "Forward and Inward" – on the third turn, the game freezes completely when playing as the thief. I tried everything: I didn't engage in battles, I didn't collect resources, and I didn't interact with Elizabeth. Either it just freezes, or it kicks me back to the desktop with an error message, or it displays "Resources are being reloaded... Please wait..." (I waited for a long time...). So, if the problem of crashes during battles was somehow solved before, in this case, it's "game over." Moreover, I started trying to play another campaign (Haven) – without any problems. I don't really like playing as the "bad guys," and I might just give up on Necropolis, but I hate even more leaving things unfinished.
