You have no idea how much health these cyclops have. 300 units of your troops couldn't break through these cyclops, they didn't even scratch them. Maybe the cyclops were helped by their ability not to die immediately?

It's precisely because of that ability. Cyclops have the most health in the game, but they can't withstand an attack from 300 crushers. Cyclops only take damage at the beginning of their turn, so you can kill them even if you deal 100 times more damage beforehand :).
