Based on the final campaign and the editor's features, it can be inferred that wizards and dark elves will be introduced first. The icons in the Silanni and Arkata images hint at forest elves and dwarves. This aligns with the developers' statements about the number of planned additional factions, which is four. It's unlikely that they will come up with anything completely new, as Sanctuaries are already sufficient. The Conflux of elementals is clearly out of place here, as Luminaries and Stream Spirits already exist. However, many would be happy to see the swamp lizards from the third part return.
