OP took 2 restarts on 111, on the third restart it seemed to come decently with 150 troglodytes from the start and Grindan in the tavern. Though the respawn covers a quarter of the map, terribly twisted and only 2 roads, one to the Griffin Conservatory, the other to the dungeon. On 112 I spotted a minimal Griffin Conservatory, I thought if I don't take it, I'll restart. I took it, sacrificed all the meat, how painful it was to choose between expert Earth and expert Air... I experted Earth, luckily a University was looming on the respawn.
Just enough troglodytes left for the Miner. I decide not to take a restart and open 2 fronts.

The generation is terrible, 4!!! days of travel on dirt road to the nearest town. The only thing that made me happy was my native secondary hero.
On 117, manticores in the castle + eyes in the Citadel.

The second week was not pleasing at all. I saw no point in sending secondary heroes off-road, especially since OP took his native secondary hero, although besides the stable there was nothing useful there, and I didn't want to go into the Inferno territory at all because it was way too far.
Eventually I rushed to the nearest treasure zone, even though I saw it was poor, but I had hope that at least deep inside there would be something useful. Deep inside there was a Sword +5 All, but the loser before death said that with 20-49 gr Efreeti there were exactly 49 of them, which was not at all pleasing. Oh well, I finished eating what I could grab and turn around to the second treasure zone. And then, lo and behold!!! I missed that it was the seventh day and built some junk in the secondary town instead of manticores in the Citadel.

The third week started with exploring the treasure zone. I spotted a Teapot +6 All guarded by 40 regular bears, with oil I took it almost without losses. My main started to look like a real hero, with attack and defense. I spot 2 Dragon Utopias, started with the one guarded by 60 gr Nagas. And on top of that, 2 Pandora's Boxes. In one of them they give all Earth magic!!! In the Utopia they give an Orb of Ignorance. The second Utopia breaks without any losses at all. There I get a Water book and a Fire book. Meanwhile, OP with a Rogue hits the Griffin Conservatory and takes the main, with 3 weeks of growth. The only thing I pulled out of there was manticores.

Well, whatever, it will all be decided by whether OP has the Orb or the Cloak. Implosion hits for 2000+, Armageddon for about 1500. I take 3 black dragons, buy up everyone and go to the final battle. 2 Behemoths decently thin out the birds and bears, but OP also cuts me down with Tactics, oil, and Mass Haste. In the end, a few bears and 10-15 birds + various meat remain on OP's side, while I have all the eyes and a few manticores. All manticores are resurrected, OP, seeing this situation and my 700 mana, apparently tries to bribe his way out and escape to the treasure zone, but here come the Shackles of War and GG.

Thanks for the game.

My native secondary hero and the external dwelling of birds didn't make the game easy for me - the birds mindlessly died to Naga banks, some weird Hydras guarding a quest bow, Cerberi... I thought to go to the treasure zone only after realizing I had nothing to do on the opponent's main, although, it must be said, both of my treasure zones were in the swamp, which made me quite skeptical about going into them, although, as practice showed, I should have feared not the slow speed in the treasure zone, but the lack of anti-magic artifacts, which I could have found there, so in the final battle retreat never crossed my mind, because there was nothing left to retreat from... thanks for the game!
