Tactics for Rampart.

I don't like that it's entirely focused on one unit: high elves. They don't have any other serious, powerful stacks. And the guild of mages is limited to the 4th tier.

Actually, it's the elves and unique units that hold everything together. The unique units are actually a very serious offensive stack, which can also blind enemies – and their health is very good for their level. But the pegasus units are completely useless, except maybe for single units or to make magic spells more expensive – they are the weakest at their level (if you don't count the energy beings). Dragons may be strong, but by the time you gather a decent number of them, an enemy with a powerful stack will already be standing right in front of you...
P.S. and they do have 5th-level magic after all.
