Mafia 40. In the Name of the Emperor

How do you know? You don't want to reveal yourself, okay. So, at least show that you care about the choice of your town's team. You can see the votes are scattered. Why not convince us that executing Spear is important? Where are those actions?

I do care, which is why I've already written quite a few pages arguing that I shouldn't be executed, and that this is a setup. Although it's hard to believe, it seems the Mafia didn't make any moves at all. What's wrong with that? Protecting me wouldn't involve eliminating anyone at night, which means I'd be executed during the day, and there wouldn't be a need to look for evidence against the Mafia. This is a perfectly reasonable plan.

Everyone here is saying Spear is a Man, okay, let's assume that (although how can anyone believe his reveal so much). The Man has this: Special Ability 3 – Hide (immune to external effects) – once every two nights.
Special Ability 4 – Infection (50% chance to infect the target with his flesh. After his death, the target becomes a Demon) – does not affect the Mafia (only when the last Mafia member remains), the Commander (Master), and the Inquisitor. Gains the target's characteristics. Also, the status of Human/Soldier changes depending on the target.

And isn't the Man overpowered? The Mafia can eliminate each other, and the Town (almost all townspeople) has a 50% chance of surviving an attack. If the Mafia does decide to eliminate someone from the Town, it's not a given that the kill will succeed. As Lor wrote: "An unsuccessful assassination attempt is not displayed" (Am I mistaken?). There are already two possibilities: the Mafia tried and failed, or the Mafia simply decided not to attempt a kill and instead used a block.
