Most likely, this is because in the third scenario, the computer has a hero named Haart, and instead of being assigned to the computer, he appeared with the player. I had a similar issue when the computer and I had the same heroes respawning on turn 111 (my hero was selected, and the computer's hero was chosen randomly), and the computer sometimes made moves for me when I advanced to the next turn.
