There are many differences between a psychological Mafia and a Mafia with clues. First, as mentioned above, any role can be revealed, and if done successfully, you can control the game as much as you want. Second, at the beginning, the role of the killed player is fully revealed, but with each night, it becomes more difficult to understand, and towards the end, the role of the deceased remains questionable, which encourages more thinking. Fourth, in the psychological version, night discussions are allowed. Also, in some games, playing with private messages is allowed, but according to the rules, not like how rule-breakers do it, which allows skilled Mafia players to manipulate players however they want, although I wouldn't say that's a big plus, quite the opposite.
