You know, playing against the computer is playing against the computer. In any case, it's easy to defeat it, whether you play "fairly" or "unfairly." And most people just don't care. Whether it's a bug or a feature :D Well, maybe someday someone from the enthusiast researchers will find out and be able to say. Personally, I don't care either way. I don't take computer games seriously at all!

By the way, I remember that funny campaign; defeating that mustachioed guy was difficult for me at the time, and I used a maneuver: I approached the castle with two heroes at a fairly long distance, where one of my heroes could be reached, but not the other. The stupid computer would run and kill the weak hero, and I would capture the city without a fight with my main hero :D and I wouldn't search for emeralds in one place :D

Those were good times; I would spend hours playing Heroes :D
