By drawing we picked towns, my opponent took the blue color. We used up all restarts in turn. He gives slow roads, Ivor with seven elves, in the tavern - Kyrre with Centaurs and Rion with Pikemen. Near the castle are 3 crypts, a stable (not very conveniently located), a garden, knowledge and attack stat boosters, an experience stone. ГО covers the underground passage half a day's journey from the castle. Everything is located very compactly. I think about who to level up: Kyrre or Ivor. I choose Kyrre, but then it naturally happened that Ivor became the main hero.
The first few days were spent very suboptimally. I was torn in two directions with a quasi-chain. As a result, on one side a block of horde of boars was discovered, on the other - a lot of Iron Golems. I decide to break through the iron golems - they move slower and without morale. Behind the iron golems there's a secondary town double, but Ivor on a lame horse reaches it only on the seventh day. A small dilemma - the main town castle or the elves in the double - is easily resolved in favor of the elves. The result: 1-5 in the main town at Citadel, a thousand, elven upgrade; 1-3 in the fort in the secondary town.
On the second week I hit a lot of Marksmen guarding a shield +4. The marksmen aggro on the Centaurs - everything is cool. Having bought the growth of grand elves from both castles, I go to a secluded corner where an external dwelling of dragons behind a pack of Efreeti, a Dwarf Cottage double, and a Pandora's box behind several Giants are located. This is my personal treasury. Hitting the Giants is a bit scary, but I take the risk here, because if I don't take it now, it's unclear when later: Ivor moves like a turtle on slow roads. There is no upgraded stack, the grand elves get morale twice, the Pandora's box gives 10k experience.
The opponent's heroes are scouted near two teleports: on the snow secondary town and on the grass one, from which I am separated by a lot of Ice Elementals. Shakti is revealed on the ramp with 1-4 Angels. Shakti is barely visible in the tavern. When he appears, it becomes clear that he is behind in stats.
At the end of the second week I realize that I have no money and practically nowhere to get it. During the third week I convert all resources, buy grand elves and the dragon. Total grand elves - 50, dragons - two. Plan: break the Ice Elementals, break through to the opponent's secondary town, kill his heroes in the chain, and try to pin down Shakti. But Ivor with Dendroids is so slow that at the last moment I abandon this plan: there will be no surprise effect, everyone will simply run away from Ivor. I go the long way and stumble upon a descent into the underground, break through there, and see only the tail end of the blue hero. Chasing is pointless, so I hit the guard of the Dragon Utopia (a pack of Psychos), take the Pandora's box for 10k experience, the Pandora's box with 30 Magogs, and exit from the other side of the underground, from where the opponent came. There is the expected secondary town - Conflux. I take it, and all the opponent's heroes flee into the green teleport. I berate myself for the idiotic move of taking the long way.
On the first day of the fourth week I decide to hit the Ice Elementals from the other side to bring up reinforcements. After ending my turn, I realize I've left Ivor exposed: on the first day he stands without reinforcements - completely without troops (2 dragons and 46 grand elves) - in immediate proximity to the teleport where the opponent disappeared. I can't even dream of buying back - there's simply no gold. It passes without incident.
I hit the Ice Elementals, bring everything I could buy. I jump into the teleport. It leads into the underground. I take a view and see the opponent's main town, where Shakti is sitting. Shakti's army is quite formidable, so I decide not to attack him in the castle, and return back. I gained visual control over the movements of the blue heroes; the opponent is obviously wary of me. For these reasons, I decide not to force the issue, but to try and break the nearby Dragon Utopia. But the opponent attacks himself.
Ivor: 8-15-3-(40). Expert Archery, Offense, Tactics, Leadership, Earth; advanced Water. Army: 3 dragons, 67 grand elves, 69 gr. Dwarves, 30 Magogs, 16 gr. Dendroids, 8 Pegasi, 18 Centaurs.
Shakti: 8-5-4-(40). Expert Offense, Tactics, Armorer; basic Air. Army: Angel, 10 Scorpicores, 19 gr. Minotaurs, 40 gr. Eyes, 130 Blue Gremlins, ~120 gr. Troglodytes.
The opponent has first turn: Haste on Scorpicores, and they paralyze 58 surviving grand elves. I cast Slayer, pile onto the Scorpicores. 3 rounds revolve around the grand elves. During this time my Magogs run out, but I kill the Scorpicores, the Angel, cast Cure on the grand elves and they start dealing damage. 19 Minotaurs under Haste crash into the dragons, 1 survives on 15 HP, but next turn the grand elves under morale wipe out the Minotaurs, the Hasted Troglodytes are tied down by Dendroids, the game is over.
Thank you to JustObserver for the game and good luck in the next ones.
