In Heroes of Might and Magic V, summoning units for Inferno is actively used.
This is too cliché for me. It's only less cliché than starting as a Wizard with Hafiz or as a Necromancer with Kaspar. :) Zybr
Previously, there was simply a town portal spell instead. Now they've introduced this simplification. Oh yes, in Heroes of Might and Magic III, demons also had a castle gate building.
This portal is valuable because it can be used not only "to the town" but also "from the town" to a point on the map.
Summoning demons is more useful at the beginning of a battle, but necromancy is not needed at the beginning of a battle. Besides, Necropolis also has ghosts. So there are no problems there.
I agree with that. It would be more useful for Inferno to have a building that raises the skill level to 1 at the beginning of the battle.
