At the end of the first week, I found and picked up native secondary skill!
Started developing both, all the way to Ruhks without Ogres, didn't build a castle on the main (only a Citadel).
Didn't gather much resources (a couple of Crypts). Took the only Dwarf dwelling (one stack of upgraded) on the second week. At the same time, I noticed the opponent via Veil movement.
Expecting a quick end, I sent Dess to buy all secondary skills.
Went to the third neutral Swamp town with my main hero and captured it.
Then the opponent pops out, from an unexpected direction, and places his main with the strike force on the road between my towns.
Ran Dess around the road to the main, both towns are bare, bought a Tarakan with meat on the main using resources from the market. Ran my main hero home to the main, didn't make it.
The opponent carefully moves along the road to the main (guessed the direction), his Tarakans run to the secondary town. Didn't have enough movement, ends up at the gates of both towns.
Now my main can reach both the main and his main. Dess (Logist Zuccho) with reinforcements almost reaches the main from the woods. Bought Kyrre on the main, transferred the second half of the army from Dess to the main hero.
Everything literally neck and neck. Barely made it!
I attack with a Tarakan against his main, look at the army and skills. The opponent spends mana on 2 spells! Completely in vain, since the Tarakan was no threat. The opponent has 20 mana left out of 30.
My main has only 10 max mana and no spell book. I decide not to attack and sit him in the main (only a Citadel built). I buy a guild and spell book, wasted!
In hindsight, it would have been more useful to upgrade the Wolf Raiders or the Orc Archers!
Turn passes, the opponent decides to attack the main, which surprised me. Maybe the lack of a castle and his Unicorns (no upgrade) with Elves (no upgrade!!!!!!) against my upgraded Ruhks with Orc Archers (no upgrade) played a role.
My basic tactic: place 11 Ruhks opposite his 40 Elves before the fight.
For some reason, I cast Stone Skin on the Orc Archers (blundered) and then decide to hit the Elves with the Ruhks, knowing the Ruhks will be torn apart afterward.
The Ruhks strike with lightning :smile41:, over half the Elves fall.
The enraged mob kicks the Ruhks, I hold everyone on defense in the castle.
With lightning spells, the opponent reduces my 40 Orc Archers to 30 and decides to breach through holes made by the catapult.
I plug the holes, and only the Unicorns manage to get inside, but they fall immediately from losses.
The rest are shot down by Orc Archers and one tower, stuck in the sealed breaches on the castle's spikes.
The battle ends with my 50 Goblins and 30 Orc Archers.

Thanks for the game!
