Sacred Haven of Debauchery

The band name Kara comes from the Greek Word "chara" (χαρά, lit. "joy"), which the group interpreted to mean "sweet melody"

I read this and started thinking about how I never pay attention to the meanings of band names (whether they're Western metal bands or Asian pop groups). But I guess that's how it should be. I listen to music, not... Um, what's it called?
I visited the band's website for the first time, by the way. What do they actually do? They sing and dance, which is somewhat amusing, as "singing," "acting," and "dancing" are listed in a row under hobbies. In addition, there's also "movies," "listening to music," and "reading." But you know, it's a bit disappointing. It feels like you've come somewhere, and they ask you, "What do you like to do?" or "What's your hobby?" And since you're not particularly interested in anything and don't really have a hobby, you talk about something completely ordinary. I somehow thought that this was only the case in the CIS countries, but apparently not. Maybe young people don't have any hobbies all over the world.
Although, the one I find most attractive even has a violin. Wow!
