Based on the description, it's impossible to tell who Tox is. He could have been defending Plesa for two reasons:
1) He's a Mafia member and decided to clear his name (usually, the team tries not to reveal themselves completely).
2) He's a Town member and saw how Plesa was being harassed by those who had betrayed the Sky, and after thinking for a moment, he realized that out of the 7 who voted (taking into account that I didn't vote), at least one of them was a Mafia member. And if a Mafia member had cast a vote for their own, they would have removed it at the last moment. So, it's logical that the candidate for execution is a Town member. It's a pity that the other 1-2 Town members didn't understand this, and their votes remained on Plesa until the very end.

The clues are complex, so I suggest voting by elimination. If such a double reveal in the voting isn't obvious to you, then I don't know what to say.
