I'm asking which of them is good and what's the point of replaying as someone on a path of tears if it doesn't change anything anyway.

None of them are good; there's only light and darkness, and whoever is closer to that is who you choose. The "tears" mission involves killing Mikhail, and the "blood" mission involves Kate. That's it. It's not a sequence; they're parallel missions.
