Didn't take the rests. Respawn was rich, at 111 the crypt was maxed, in the castle 1-2, so I immediately built a viper dwelling. At 113 I scouted a conservatory at 2, but it was an inconvenient approach, an external dwelling of gorgons. Didn't go in right away, broke through to a secondary town at 116, took the castle (slow roads) with ready sharpshooters. In the end, at the first town, everyone except the Wasps and Hydras was in the castle; at the secondary town, 1-2 with a citadel. At the second, I scouted a Dragon Utopia, cleared the external dwelling of gorgons, stormed a Naga Bank with 6 Nagas. They cut down a couple of Bulls and all the Lizardmen with Gnolls, dammit (((( Didn't level up Earth magic enough, so no Mass Slow. Didn't build up the secondary town, although I scouted external dwellings of Spearmen, Swordsmen, and Griffins. The Lich King dropped a couple of artifacts for +2 Attack and +3 Knowledge. By the end of the second week, at the start, 1-7 in the castle. At 131, I almost buy everyone out and head to the treasure zone. There were 2 Dragon Utopias, 2 Hives + a Sword +5 to all for 100+ wood. Scouted the metro before the treasure zone, didn't go in, decided not to rush. But then Tazar showed up in the metro with 3 Angels and 2 Efreets. Had to fight. In the end, I didn't even have time to pass the artifacts from the Lich King. Stats-wise, roughly equal, but I had all the growth, and Ivan didn't even have anything to buy back with — he had just placed Bears at the secondary town at 136.
Offered a rematch, but the opponent politely refused. As it turned out, he'd lost a lot on a conservatory-three.
