We took turns choosing all the restarts. The initial map offered a small resource spawn with a two-gold coin, and the second level in the Castle wasn't built. I scouted the map and decided to head for the horses near the Castle, not upgrading the archers. I started pushing towards the secondary resource (swamp) and ran into a horde of upgraded lizards guarding the bull spawn. I wandered around the swamp until level 121.
I was happy for my opponent when they announced the "Week of Viv" event. I upgraded and bought 5 horses (I didn't build a Castle due to economic considerations), cleared the lizards (there were 80 of them) without archers, losing all the resources I had accumulated during the first week. I attacked the gorgon spawn with five horses (3+2) and four swordsmen (I completely forgot about the archers ). The 9 gorgons attacked twice (just like my horses under expert leadership) and caught up to the horses. The result was -2 horses and -4 swordsmen. Then I took the secondary resource, wandered around the swamp, and didn't go for the tertiary resource – I needed to visit the Guild Master, as I already had expert-level earth magic, and to capture the dungeon and the naga bank on the starting resource.
At the beginning of the third week, I rushed to the main Castle, captured the dungeon from about 80 orcish warlords, losing 19 marksmen (). In the dungeon, I got a tenth-level Fafnir with a random set of skills. I prepared to attack the naga bank, positioned Valeska with seven horses for the attack, and then my opponent flew onto the map, took my Castle, and attacked the weak remains of my army. The opponent had 3 angels, 17 vivs, about 50 lizards, and some other units. GG.
The first online game was full of mistakes, not even strategic or tactical ones, but purely technical. I lacked concentration.
