Battles.

There are two categories of players: competitive players and what are known as "casual" Heroes players. With the former, everything is clear; they treat Heroes as a sport and strive to improve their gameplay each time, meaning they focus on achieving results. The latter enjoy playing casually, perhaps with a beer, and the pleasure comes from the process itself. Both approaches are valid; to each their own.
