Stryfe (blue, Dungeon, Shakti, Galtran) def Amiloo (red, Inferno, Marius, Marius), 8mm6a, 227
It turned out to be an interesting game; we ran around a lot and ate almost the entire map.
I took my 2 restarts and we began. In the tavern on the first day I dug up Galtran; the native computer was Necropolis, and I decided to try my luck. :)
On the first week I scouted 2 Griffin Conservatories, one of which was a level 1; I took it with Gosh. I built Minotaurs in the citadel. By week 2 day 1 I grabbed 2 computer castles — Necro and Rampart.
Then I took the level 1 Griffin Conservatory near the Necro castle and went to my corner treasure zone. Everything there turned out to be rather sparse. I took a level 2 Griffin Conservatory and 2 Dwarf Cottages (at least I accumulated some skeletons); I found nothing else interesting and decided to head to another treasure zone next to the human castle I had just captured. And then my opponent appeared. He clearly had more army (including many Efreeti, Magogs, and Demons); I decided he would attack and upgraded the skeletons, preparing for the final battle (earlier I had taken a level 1 Dragon Utopia near the Dungeon town, which gave me a Cap of +6 to all stats). But on his turn, the opponent ran away with Marusya into the darkness. After that, I reclaimed the human castle and headed to the treasure zone.
There I found 3 Dragon Utopias and several Dragon Fly Hives. I only managed to take 2, because the opponent started grabbing my castles and I would have been left empty-handed if I hadn't rushed home. Logistics just refused to appear for Gosh, so he ran like a turtle. But I built GM5 in the Dungeon, which gave me Town Portal and Dimension Door, and I immediately headed there. The opponent didn't take that town, but ran to my main; meanwhile I doubled my mana and learned spells. Life became a bit easier, but I was still far behind in army. As luck would have it, all the Dragon Fly Hives gave minimal rewards, and in the meantime the opponent also managed to level up scout heroes, who were riding a Magic Dragon from Pandora's Box, Sultan Efreeti, and an Archangel from the Mercenary Camp... I decided to jump into the teleporter and take 2 scouted Griffin Conservatories that I hadn't reached before; the opponent considered them already taken and didn't go for them. Near the second Conservatory I found another 3(!) Dragon Utopias (3+3+5), which gave me many useful artifacts. After that, I recaptured the human castle (for the second time in the game), where Angels had already been built; I got Archangels; in the Dungeon town I built the Artifact Merchant and bought Speed Gloves; then I upgraded the Wyverns (in that town the opponent had accidentally left a scout hero with a full stack of Efreeti; I destroyed them, and this helped me a lot later). Then I grabbed a couple of scouted Conservatories, took another Dragon Utopia, used scout heroes to kill the native orange computer, doubled my mana there, and seeing the opponent's scout hero near the human castle in the overview, teleported there, intending to attack the enemy main on the next turn. The scout hero jumped into a portal on his turn, and I decided to follow him, thinking the Inferno zone was there.
That territory turned out to be a secondary area, but there I found Marusya with a speed boost on 1 Archangel. Her speed was higher, but I had the Shackles of War. The opponent's main hero was killed, and there was a surrender! Then we decided to have a final battle with full armies, where I also proved stronger.
Amiloo, thank you for an interesting and meaningful game!
It really turned out to be a very interesting game, even though the viewers got a bit tired watching 1 game of the 4th stream :)
It's also a shame that due to a lack of experience and concentration, I couldn't properly utilize my fairly well-leveled secondary characters; there was a severe lack of time, and my thoughts scattered :)
Overall, it was very engaging and thrilling for me; thank you for the game, and good luck to everyone further on ;)
