It turned out to be an interesting game, we did a lot of running around and ate up almost the entire map.
I took my 2 restarts and we began. On the first day, I dug up Galthran in the tavern; the native computer was Necropolis, and I decided to try my luck. :)
In the first week, I scouted 2 Griffin Conservatories, one of which was a size 1; I took it with Gosha. I built Minotaurs in the citadel. By week 2 day 1, I captured 2 computer castles — Necro and Rampart.
Then I took the size 1 Griffin Conservatory near the Necro castle and went to my corner treasure zone. Everything there turned out to be quite sparse. I took a size 2 Griffin Conservatory and 2 Dwarf Cottages (at least I stockpiled some skeletons), didn't find anything else interesting, and decided to head to another treasure zone near the human castle I had just captured. And then the opponent appeared. He clearly had more meat (including many Efreeti, Magogs, and Demons); I decided he would attack and upgraded the skeletons, preparing for the final showdown (before that, I had taken a size 1 Dragon Utopia near the Dungeon village, which gave a Cap of +6 to all stats). But on his turn, the opponent ran away with Marusya into the darkness. After that, I reclaimed my human castle and went to the treasure zone.
There I found 3 Dragon Utopias and several Dragon Fly Hives. I only managed to take 2 because the opponent started snatching my castles, and I would have been left empty-handed if I hadn't rushed home. Logistics stubbornly wouldn't be given to Gosha, so he ran like a turtle. But I built mage guild level 5 in the Dungeon, which gave Town Portal and Dimension Door, and immediately rushed there. The opponent didn't take this town but ran to my main; in the meantime, I doubled my mana and learned spells. Life became a little easier, but I was still far behind in army strength. As luck would have it, all the Dragon Fly Hives gave minimal rewards, while the opponent meanwhile managed to level up scout heroes who were riding a Magic Dragon from a Pandora's Box, Sultan Efreeti, and an Archangel from the Mercenary Camp... I decided to jump into a teleporter and take 2 scouted Griffin Conservatories that I hadn't been able to reach before; the opponent considered them already taken and didn't go for them. Near the second Conservatory, I found 3(!) more Dragon Utopias (3+3+5), which gave me many useful artifacts. After that, I recaptured the human castle (for the second time in the game), where Angels were already built; I got Archangels, built an Artifact Merchant in the Dungeon village and bought Gloves of Speed, then upgraded Wyverns (in that town, the opponent had accidentally left a scout hero with a full stack of Efreeti; I destroyed them, and this helped me greatly later on). Then I grabbed a couple of scouted Griffin Conservatories, took 1 more Dragon Utopia, killed the native orange computer with scout heroes, doubled my mana there, and, seeing the opponent's scout hero near the human castle on the overview, portaled there, intending to attack the enemy's main on the next turn. On his turn, the scout hero darted into a portal, and I decided to follow him, thinking that the Inferno zone was there.
This territory turned out to be a secondary zone, but I found Marusya there on a speed-buffed single Archangel. Her speed was higher, but I had Shackles of War. The opponent's main hero was killed, and surrender followed! Then we decided to have a final showdown with full armies, where I also proved stronger.
Amiloo, thank you for an interesting and meaningful game!
