I killed the Templar twice, the first time in the city, and then after the dialogue, he appears near the Fortress, and this time with an even larger army than the first time. Luckily, I managed to recruit 48 Dark Elementals; otherwise, it would have been tough, and all that would have remained of the army were Lilims and Elementals.

The most boring mission; at the beginning, there's still some excitement, but then it becomes incredibly tedious; I barely managed to finish it.
