There are only a few "story" missions, literally three to five, the rest are about capturing territory on the map or defending. Considering that after a few missions all the technologies are already unlocked, attacking and defending in essentially simple skirmish maps starts to get boring. I even got to the point where, when attacking, I would select all the troops and immediately rush the enemy, and when defending, I would set up some cheap tanks or infantry and do the same thing.
